Spring is officially here and a number of significant dog events coincide with this time of year.

First and foremost is the third anniversary of adopting Rudy and Wyatt. Their official Gotcha Day is March 21.

They were our youngest, only 2-years-old when we got them, and our most challenging greyhounds.

They have become wonderful, loving, trustworthy companions. We had lost three dogs in 18 months before we adopted Rudy and Wyatt. They really helped heal our broken hearts.

We are so grateful that they came into our lives and that they are happy, healthy dogs.
March 20, is also Truman’s birthday.

We adopted him in 2012 after losing Larry and feeling that Tiger needed another canine companion.

We lost Truman to the dreaded osteosarcoma in 2019. We said goodbye on October 4, 2019. He would have turned 15 this year. We love and miss Truman very much.

Today, March 23, is National Puppy Day. None of our dogs were ever technically puppies when they came into our lives. But Aurelia, Ducati, Larry, Tiger, Truman, Campy, Rudy and Wyatt will always be our puppies.

Hug your dogs on this National Puppy Day and everyday!
